In keeping with our continuous efforts to expand our services, Globalink is pleased to announce that its Road Transportation Division (RTD) has acquired the license for handling dangerous goods via our owned trucks. Acquiring this license is only given after extensive research into a providers capabilities, set-up and track record and obtaining this license speaks volumes for the performance of our RTD personnel. Additionally, Globalink has also created a separate unit within its RTD Division which deals with all fleet related issues such as maintenance, Track & Trace equipment and driver training, education & certification programs. 

 

We are pleased to announce the opening of our following offices where our trained and professional team is poised to handle all shipments and to provide all the needed assistance and service to satisfy the growing needs and demands of our agents and customers.  

 

In keeping with the success and growth that our Removals & Relocation Division (RRD) has been experiencing for the past several years, 2007 once again proved that Globalink is the leading Removals and Relocation Management Company in the CIS and the Middle East.  

 

Recently, residents of Tbilisi, Georgia were treated to a fascinating performance by none other than the famous sashaying Shakira. Singing to a packed concert crowd, Shakira had all her fans swaying to her music and signing along. A truly great concert.

 

Recently, Sir Elton John played to a packed concert in Baku, Azerbaijan. Thoroughly enjoyed by all the lucky concert goers, a little known fact (until now) was that had it not been for Globalink, such a wonderful night of excitement could have been missed.  

 

While Globalink Logistics Group will not be appearing in any onscreen roles, our Road Transport Division certainly deserves an award for their stellar performance.  

 

Recently Globalink Odessa undertook to deliver a shipment for a boiler plant in Ukraine. The cargo was by no means standard and consisted of 3 enormous over sized pieces with just the accessories and supporting beam alone weighing 109 tonnes.

 

As one of the main service provides to the Oil & Gas Industry, Globalink is routinely called on to provide quality service that customers have come to expect.  

 

As the largest enclosed body of water on Earth by area and classified by some authorities as the worlds largest lake, The Caspian Sea region has grown in both strategic and economical importance. With most of the oil exploration activities centered in and around the Caspian Sea and with a vast abundance of natural resources, it is easy to understand the new found significance of this region. As several countries borders the Caspian Sea, various governments are looking to ways to secure their maritime borders and to protect their resources and the various pipelines involved.  

 

Having made a niche for itself, and in the process earning a reputation for being one of the most reliable service providers when it comes to Auto Logistics, Globalink recently air freighted a mint condition 1962 Chevrolet Camaro from the USA to Almaty, Kazakhstan. Purchased by one of our regular customers, a vintage car enthusiast, this classic “Muscle Car,” was on its way to becoming a valuable addition to his growing private collection. As an irreplaceable classic, the Camaro required delicate and careful handling and with Globalink on the job, this priceless automobile arrived at its destination in pristine condition and was met by an ecstatic owner who just couldn’t wait to drive it away..  

 

Recently, Globalink was contracted to handle the return of a damaged compressor for refurbishment from one of the oil companies operating in Turkmenistan. Not an extremely large piece when compared to others handled by us, the transportation aspect was slightly tricky as the destination required the shipment to be handled in 2 legs.  

 

With the vast oil exploration and extraction operations going on in Azerbaijan, from time to time various equipments tend to break down which brings all operations to a grinding halt. Such was the case when Globalink received an urgent call at the 11th hour to find a way of bringing in one such spare part in the shortest and quickest way possible.

 

With extensive experience in the arena of heavy lifts and project management, Globalink had yet another opportunity to exhibit its prowess. Contracted to handle the transportation of an oil rig and camp site from Algeria to Kazakhstan, our Project Team went straight into action.

 

Recently Globalink Atyrau made headlines when they handled a major construction equipment relocation from Atyrau, Kazakhstan to the Middle East. More then 100 machines weighing upto 5000 tons were imported into Kazakhstan in 2003-2004 for use at the Karabatan Site in Western Kazakhstan. It only seemed fitting that Globalink handle their massive re-export as we were the company to transport it to Kazakhstan in the first place.
 

Globalink flexes its heavy lift muscles yet once again. Contracted to move 3 oversized pieces from Samara, Russia to Kostanai, Kazakhstan, Globalink went straight into action.
 

Globalink Logistics Group, renowned for providing superior, reliable and professional transportation and logistics services, was recently contracted to handle a turnkey project by the Civil Aviation Authority of Yerevan, Armenia for the renovation and modernization of Yerevan International Airport.
 

Globalink was approached to assist with moving equipment totaling 12000 tonnes for a waste water treatment plant.
 

One of the great archeological finds of the 20th century, excavated in Issyk Kurgan, 70 kilometers from Almaty, Kazakhstan, the Golden Man is an “Issyk” chieftain buried in a suit made of more than 4000 intricately decorated and fitted gold pieces.
 

Recently Julio Iglesias, the legendary singer, performed a concert in Almaty, Kazakhstan on November 16th, 2005. While Globalink Logistics Group, not known for its musical capabilities, did put to good use the capabilities it is renowned for and made it possible for others to enjoy this wonderful and lively event.
 

Globalink Karachi had a challenging task of shipping two helicopters back to New York. These were helicopters imported 17 years ago and as such needed to get clearance to be re-exported and to have landing permission at the port from the Civil Aviation Authority.
 

Globalink Logistics Group successfully, efficiently and ahead of schedule delivered 2 reactor chambers weighing a mammoth 255 tons each, from Slovakia to Turkmenistan.
 

One of several CATERPILLARS, each weighting 42 tons delivered smoothly efficiently and on time from Spain to Almaty Kazakhstan.
 

Two fluid pumps at 20 tons each, being loaded onto an AN124. This plane, which is one of the largest, was chartered by Globalink Logistics Group, so as to meet the customer’s requirement.
