Helicopters from Karachi to New York

Globalink Logistics Group once again showed why it is renowned in its field.

Globalink Karachi had a challenging task of shipping two helicopters back to New York. These were helicopters imported 17 years ago and as such needed to get clearance to be re-exported and to have landing permission at the port from the Civil Aviation Authority. To further make things more interesting, the RORO Vessel which we had to use, calls into Port Qasim, Karachi only once a month. So time was a luxury we did not have.

But even with all the challenges, the re-export permission was obtained, landing permission was given, helicopters were flown into Port Qasim, where Globalink personnel dismantled the rooter blades, packed them in approved boxes and then towed the same with into terminal where the vessel would be docking.

5 days is what the Globalink Karachi Team had to accomplish all the above and they did this without sacrificing quality or service. All aspects of this shipment were closely monitored to ensure no surprises occurred. None did and that was a direct result of the experience and professionalism of the Globalink employees involved.
