Globalink Logistics Group proved yet once again why it is the forwarder of choice when it comes to turnkey projects.

OGlobalink was approached to assist with moving equipment totaling 12000 tonnes for a waste water treatment plant. From Houston, USA a dedicated charter was arranged for the journey upto St. Petersburg, Russia. The shipment, from being transported on an ocean/ro ro vessel, was then transferred to river vessels able to navigate the Volga Don River to reach the Caspian Sea port of Baku. At this juncture, the cargo was shifted to rail wagons after specially hired cranes performed the transfer. The same platforms and wagons went by rail ferry from the port of Baku to its final destination in Turkmenbashi, Turkmenistan. In addition to providing the logistics and transportation for this project and the cargo being lashed by our experienced and professional employees, insurance for the entire shipment was also arranged as we are authorized agents for Lloyds of London. Our own offices and exceptional management team with thorough local knowledge and logistics expertise, monitored the cargo at each juncture as the shipment traveled via Russia and Azerbaijan to its final destination in Turkmenistan.

With 22 offices in The CIS alone and an unparalleled network in place, Globalink is the only logistics provider in the CIS market offering a complete set of logistics solutions to its customers. Our service portfolio ranges from Courier, Express & Parcel to Multimodal Forwarding, Removals & Relocation, Heavy Lifts, Project Logistics, chartering to Dry Bulk and Liquid Transportation. Our “one stop solution” concept enables customers to direct all their requirements, be it CEP, Freight Management, Customs & Distribution, Projects Logistics, Removals & Relocation and other value added services to one company instead of approaching a multitude of various ones for different needs.
