Urgent Delivery from Saudi Arabia to Azerbaijan 

With the vast oil exploration and extraction operations going on in Azerbaijan, from time to time various equipments tend to break down which brings all operations to a grinding halt. Such was the case when Globalink received an urgent call at the 11th hour to find a way of bringing in one such spare part in the shortest and quickest way possible.

While the oil rig in question needed only one part to repair the equipment, that one part just so happened to be an oversized piece weighing in at 13 tonnes. With years of experience in the CIS and with our own network of offices to support each other, Globalink rose to the occasion.

Globalink Dubai’s Road Freight Division collected the needed part from Dammam and brought it straight up to Dubai airport via a special low bed trailer. While the truck was on its way to Dubai, Globalink’ Dubai’s Air Freight Division completed the necessary paperwork and secured the slot onboard the upcoming flight to Baku, Azerbaijan. When the plane landed in Baku, it was met by personnel from Globalink Baku who completed the required formalities in record time and off loaded the spare part from the plane onto a low bed trailer for the final leg of the journey.

From start to finish, 5 days was what it took. This outstanding achievement was made only possible due to Globalink’s comprehensive coverage, proven abilities and seamless coordination between our offices. Yet another of the many examples of our offices working together as one to get the job done.
